Cristal Mining recently upgraded their STEYR Motors engines from the old MO style to the new SE range. The company operates a service barge for a mineral sands dredge in a Murray Basin Sand Mine. Interestingly, the company produces Zircon and Titanium which is used in the manufacturing of toothpaste and confectionary products.
This plate alloy hardtop has followed the trend with this customer upgrading his engines from a STEYR Motors MO engine to the SE range. This 7.9m vessel weighing 2800kg’s is powered by the SE236E40, 230Hp and a Mercruiser Bravo II Drive. The customer was very happy with the transition stating that the engines are quieter and more efficient than my old one.
